Bright lines wander across the walls of an exhibition room in Villa Zanders. Depending on the incidence of light, weather and time of day, they are more or less visible. They blend with patches and streaks of sunlight, reflections or the light from street lamps.
The lines trace the windows of the ZEICHENRAUM (drawing room) of artist and curator Claudia Busching. Betina Kuntzsch developed a three-channel video projection for this space in May 2023. The drawn contours and hatching wander through the room and condense into layers, reflections and three-dimensional structures.
For the installation in Villa Zanders, the animations were modified and the installation was redeveloped for the room situation in daylight.
The animations are projected onto walls and window blinds. The two projections overlap.
They are of different lengths, resulting in ever-changing combinations, constantly new video drawings and light effects.
