Traineeship in the graphics department of GDR television/director’s training workshop

1983 – 1988

Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig (Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig), diploma with a video work

1988 – 1990

Work for GDR television

Since 1988, videotapes and installations, printed graphic works, animations and documentary films. as well as moving image design and experimental video projects for various television stations and film production companies. VFX and animation for Alexander Sokurov (Russian Ark, Father and Son), Peter Greenaway (The Tulse Luper Suitcases), Jutta Brückner (Hitlerkantate), Damir Lukaevic (Transfer), Matthias Glasner (BLOCHIN), among others.

Participation in film and video festivals worldwide. Betina Kuntzsch lives and works in Berlin.
